Hotel Derby
Hotel Derby is located in Les Corts, an elegant district of Barcelona near the business area and very well connected with the rest of the city. The hotel was founded in 1967 and renovated in 1998 to offer modern spaces, equipped with the last technologies, such as a business center and three meeting rooms with a capacity up to 50 persons. On the other hand, the hotel enjoys an art collection composed by series of paintings and litographs. In the hall there are series of sculptures and different pictures from famous artists, as the contemporary painter Guinovart. Moreover, the property is decorated with art pieces of Cuixart, Broxart, Miró, Picasso, Castillo, Riera i Arago, Joan Ponç, Arranz Bravo, Tharrats, Antoni Clave, Dalí, Rafols, Casamada, Guinovart, Wifredo, and Mariscal. The hotel also displays some lithographs from Tapies, Brossa, Pijuan, Feito, Arroyo, and Chillida. The property furthermore features a restaurant, a bar and a TV/reading lounge. Guests are entitled to use the Gran Derby hotel swimming pool, located only 10 metres from the Derby hotel.
